I say harmless but GARF says they eat Acros. I differ since they are in all of my tanks and haven't hurt antyhing yet.

Not sure, I have a lot of the little white ones, but his seems to be red. Never had a problem with the white ones.

the flip side is actually the real color. The 1st shot may have been tainted by the flash.

I've had the tiny white asterina's in my tank for years. I see absolutely no ill effects from them. I'd say keep an eye on it. If you see it do something you don't like, punish him :biggrin:
