How do you take good fireworks pics?

I have a Canon Rebel EOS digital camera. I would like to take some good shots of the fireworks. Any suggestions or tips?

when the fire works explode take a picture lol. jk

usually i set up the shutter effect where it takes like 10 quick pics, that one at least one will be good.

I like to set up a tripod with an extremely slow shutter speed to catch the trail and explosion in the same frame.
