lens?

bought my wife a cannon EOS a few yeras ago
need lens suggestions
she wants an all around lens for when we travel and when my son plays hockey
married too long have no clue wat to buy her for xmas

get the 28mm to 300 mm that way its wide already and you can zoom it to 300 maybe around 200 to 300 $

You could also get her a 50mm fixed focal length. Really clear lens, great for portraits, stops down to a nice shallow DOF. Or I love the 18-250mm Tamron lens. That is my favorite.

How long has she had the lenses? Are they still under warranty? If so, Canon should take care of it. Otherwise, phototech is very good.

looking seriously into the Tamron lens I think that will suit her fine
next big lens purchase for her will be a sports oriented telephoto lens she likes taking photos of our 10 year old playing hockey
