I have seen many people say how big a coral is. But how do we really know?

So I was bored today, so I made a ruler so I could measure in a photograph. I know that it is not the best, but OH WELL!

When i just looked at your picture i was like WTHIS then when i read your thread i sort of understand but i am still confused as to why would u do that?
