Its been a LOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGG time since I've been around the site. I thought I'd reintroduce myself with a few pics of my current project.

The following pics (low quality iPhone pics) are of a 450 gallon mixed reef...I've tried to emphasize SPS corals, but acquisition has been a bit of a problem for me. I've actually got quite a few non-photosynthetics, more so than I originally planned.

The tanks is about 96L x 36W x 31H, lit by three 400W HQI @ 14K Ushio, with eight 36" HO T5 with a mix of 420 actinic, 460 actinic, and 12K Geismann tubes.

Nice Acanthastrea lordhowensis, Lobophyllia maxima, with rainbow Monti, blue clove polyps, Cyphastrea sp., and a orange Monti. digitata in the background.

yellow toadstool, nice pink Cynarina lacrymalis, and a very nice Blastomussa wellsi

Just a couple of my SPS. These are both old pics. Wish I had a current pic of the birds nest, its much more pink these days.

Non-photosynthetics. There's a Duncanopsammia sp. here next to the rainbow Monti., very cool and not something you see everyday. And a Dendrophyllia sp. I started from a single polyp frag.

The fishes! Psuedanthias kashiwae, orange Mandarin dragonet, and my blue dot jawfish

Kind of a cool reflection pic. Took this pic just after a feeding...You can see all the food floating in the water.

And the best full-tank shot I've got right now. Again, sorry about quality, these are taken on my phone. :(

OK, so I hate you so much already. :P

That is a gorgeous tank that I can only dream of one day owning. Thanks for sharing!

BTW, if you use the rimg tag, you can post big versions of your photobucket shots fitted to the page (but then clickable to the full size shot).
