Oh man, the african grey with the hotwing is a classic! I think that's about the only kind of bird I'd ever really enjoy. The LFS I worked at in college had a grey for a couple of years (they couldn't sell the thing). 'Mali' seemed to adopt me; would bite the crap out of anyone that came near her except me. Fantastic little bird. Could never bring myself to pay a grand for a glorified pigeon though. 8O :wink:

Yeah, they tend to 'bond' to one person (in this case, me), she'll tolerate the wife at times, bite her at others

But she mimic's the wife's voice (and sneeze, cough etc), have been told its because she's trying to 'replace' her.

Has a very large vocabulary, will have conversations with herself in different voices etc, does 4-5 diff cell phone ringtones, as well as house phone, we dont bother running to answer it when we're outside.

Here's a picture of my California King snake (Striped Phase). As you can see his name is Blade. His strip comes to form a double bladed axe on his head, thus giving him his name. Currently he's about 21 inches long and growing like a weed.
