I was wondering if any of you have the Canon i320 Color Bubble Jet Printer. I'd like to get a photo printer to print up my digital pictures. How do you rate this printer or do you have any suggestions?

It all depends on how critical you are of the prints.

If ICM Profiles, color management, monitor calibration are terms you know of, then you might want a different printer.

If they're not, then it would probably be fine. Not saying its bad, just that there are others, which give you more control over the printing (calibrating) process. They will be more money though.

You might look at the forums on www.dpreview.com under printers, and search for that model.

If all you want to print are 4x6, another option is the HI-TI dye-sub printer, the cost per page is fairly low, the printer is inexpensive. one review of it is at http://www.steves-digicams.com/2002_rev ... 630ps.html

as a side note, I dont have any of the above mentioned printers.. I do however have an Epson 2200, and use it in conjuction with custom profiles, a calibrated monitor, and pictorico paper (and am currently happy with its results, till the next 'good thing' comes along).
