She doesn't like to stop moving, and she'll only come out when I feed her newly hatched Artemia, but here is my Yasha goby. The shrimp that is "paired" with her is not so paired, methinks. They share a burrow, I know the shrimp is alive (I can hear it snapping), but I never see it. I thought the shrimp came out whenever the goby did, but I've never had a pair before...

BTW, I took 80 pictures and these were the best ones, believe it or not. I really have respect now for the guys who snap their pictures in the wild with scuba gear at 100 feet down, and they turn out crystal clear.

The Yashas are definitely my favorite gobies...they have such cool personalities and that constantly grumpy expression on their face... It's too bad mine recently became anemone food after more than a year in my tank. Oh well...if I see another one of them in the LFS i'll definitely pick it up. Nice shots, by the way! And keep shooting! :)

Cute Goby.. and I can totally sympathize with you as far as trying to get a clear pic of a fish.. I consider the crisp, clean shots of fish to be the ultimate prize in reef photography...

Incidentally.. I have absolutely no crisp shots of my fish after maybe 500 photos.. sigh... :?
