Extreme closeups-NonReef related

Since i don't have much to shoot in the tank i figured i shoot anything i can find in the house, lol. Im gonna keep this updated based on what i find in the coming days.

First one is Needle and Thread, the other 2 are pen and ink related. Enjoy!

For these shots i use a d70, 105mm prime, 50mm prime reversed, and 250d closeup lens. I go to about f22 to get plenty of detail. This setup allows me to get real close to the object. It doesn't work on the tank because i can't focus beyond a certain distance. Most things in the tank are too far. But it's fun seeing the detail in the things you never really pay attention to.

None of these pics are cropped. So the magnification is accurate.

What camera and lense? I've been asking this question alot because I'm looking for a good camera to buy.
