We have a couple more Achilles tangs from our last shipment we are trying to clear out. We have another shipment of Polynesian fish and clams coming in the near future and we need more space so we are offering our remaining fish at some awesome prices.

Polynesian Achilles Tangs (2.5-3 inches)-$119.99 (reg. $199.99).

All of our Polynesian fish come from our own collection station in Tahiti and are hand-netted. Our fish are handled very well and are very hardy. All of the Achilles tangs are eating whatever we give them including a variety of frozen foods and nori. We have had these fish at our facility for over a month. We have these tangs posted on our weekly specials page and they have been very popular this week. Only a couple left!

Thanks for the info. It would be a no brainer if this was a easier hardier fish. Almost certain they ALL would be sold out since this fish is so beautiful. It all depends on your experience level. Some say there easy and owned them for years. Others say there hard as heck. Some say the bigger they are the more chances you have at survival. Some say the smaller they are. Some say ich magnets very sensitive. I say tomato. You say tomoto

They're not an easy fish to keep, and yes, they are Ich magnets, so you do need to QT them for some time. Actually the smaller they are the better, as the larger one don't always seem to want to eat, or even recognize the food that you put in. They also need a good size tank with a lot of water movement, plus they can be very aggressive with other Tangs and fish for that matter. Not an easy fish to keep by far.

This is an awesome price, especially if they're eating! I've owned three of these fish myself and have managed to get all three to last me for a year or two (all three ended up going to other homes as they were just too aggressive, even in my 300g set-up) . The last one I had lasted without electricity during Hurricane Sandy for almost a week and a half. In all, I think if you get a healthy one or one that's eating at your lfs (which is how I obtained all mine), you're in luck.
