Japanese Dragon Moray Videos

I've had this Japanese Dragon Moray (Enchelycore pardalis) for quite some time (Over two months). These eels are rare and very difficult to get eating prepared foods.

Not only is this one eating prepared foods, I've trained it to take algae with cocktail shrimp or silversides. This is important as it helps maintain its color and offers more nutrition for a balanced diet.

The eel has also been treated for parasites and bacteria infections.

I can't believe how softly that eel took that food. It's like you trained him to be gentle since he was a little worm. My dragon would go into frenzy mode as soon as the smell of food hit the water. Never heard of algae helping to keep the colors bright on the dragons. How did you hear about that? Thanks And good luck with the sale. T

I didn't train him to act like that :lol2: These videos were taken a day after I fed him a ton of food. He wasn't super hungry. Its not only eels that algae helps with coloration. If you search online you'll find many papers that talk about algae as the base diet for most marine fish (this includes predators) and how it affects health (and coloration).
