So we spent about 4 hours at the hospital and doctors office today and they have come to a decision that we are going to try the blood thinner route first. They feel the clot can be succesfully treated using LMWH injections over about a 3 week period. It means a TON of testing for the little guy but at this point and time NO SURGERY  . They feel it is a form of Deep Vein Thrombosis and although pretty rare in young children it can/does occurr. Daily injections and MRI/CAT scans but my wife and I are doing cautious backflips at this point.
I know I have said it MANY times but I CANNOT thank each and every one of you enough for all your offers, prayers and support. You are ALL truly amazing people.
Although I am taking a break to concentrate on the matters at hand I will NOT be leaving MR and hopefully in the next few months will be back at it again. I know someone with a NICE 120 that he will be getting rid of in a few months so I will likely JUMP ON IT.
Again, from my wife and I Thank you!
