An update on my son......

So we spent about 4 hours at the hospital and doctors office today and they have come to a decision that we are going to try the blood thinner route first. They feel the clot can be succesfully treated using LMWH injections over about a 3 week period. It means a TON of testing for the little guy but at this point and time NO SURGERY :hug: . They feel it is a form of Deep Vein Thrombosis and although pretty rare in young children it can/does occurr. Daily injections and MRI/CAT scans but my wife and I are doing cautious backflips at this point.

I know I have said it MANY times but I CANNOT thank each and every one of you enough for all your offers, prayers and support. You are ALL truly amazing people.

Although I am taking a break to concentrate on the matters at hand I will NOT be leaving MR and hopefully in the next few months will be back at it again. I know someone with a NICE 120 that he will be getting rid of in a few months so I will likely JUMP ON IT.

Dear Bobby, Katie and especially Ryan,
This is awesome news for your little treasure. TONS of testing is still better than the surgery. We're all praying this is the ultimate solution for this diagnosis.

As I mentioned to you previously, please let me know when you and Ryan are ready for a joint venture into saltwater fish TOGETHER so that I can send you a nice, cute, child friendly nano for Ryan to claim as HIS reef tank. A smile on his face can go a long way to recovery

Ayyy Bobby what Richie is SAYING all tru hes a GREAT guy if i were u i wouldnt miss out. If u do get the chance to go over hes house. I would recommend to bring some paper towels because u will b droiling once u see Richies 450 lol. Once again im happy for u n your son bobby =)
