didnt work but owned a bmw, mirror isnt hard to change, pop the inner cover off, that one might have a speaker in the cover but it should just pop off and there is 3 10mm nuts that will loosen the mirror. and even if someone buys it for you from bmw you wont hardly save anything. and not sure if their mirrors come painted already or not

Wow the last mirror i ordered from BMW for a car that dame thing was $1200 if you want the glass only it was $500 . Thay piece out the hole mirror housing

The damn dimming mirror itself is
Almost 400 on the 3 series.
Complete its around 1100 unpainted.
They have so many different variations for each model that the prices are crazy. Have to buy everything in parts.
Makes me sick but it is what it is.

Dame for just a mirror . Yeah i would do what NYreefNoob said to check the junk yards for it.
Rick I did that this morning. I called around 25 places and bought a near complete mirror off a california yard this morning with the dimmable mirror for 200 shipped in mint condition. Got very very lucky.
Just need to get the rear
Cover for it and get it painted.
Locally they wanted 88 for the part primed unpainted but audios got me a site for 50ish so I'm going to go from there and then try to get it painted.

i will say this one paint since thats what i use to do, make sure they exact color match it and do a proper job, for a few $ worth to have it done correct, no runs no color issue ect. and a paint code isnt enough for a exact match, they really need old mirror to color match it

Yes they measure most areas of the car with a paint thickness meter too, to tell where and how well it was repaired. Try bavarian auto recyclers too, they have alot.
