Restoration Project

My wife and I have been looking for a new coffee table, and we both liked this one:

I looked around a bit and found a furniture factory cart on ebay, and we bid. We won the cart for about $300, and drove to PA to pick it up. So anyway... a couple of days of work over a couple of weekends, and we now have a new coffee table for about $1000 less than RH after factoring in shipping!

Our old coffee table had a big glass top on it. They're probably about the same weight, and this one will roll!

Thanks! It is sturdy... My guess is that it will last longer that everything I've ever bought at IKEA... combined.

Thanks, we think so too. The RH one is a little too polished. I considered planing the wood to get that effect, but we decided to keep it a bit more rustic looking and are happy we did.
