How To Take Photos?!!?!

First off, are there any good threads out there teaching how to take photos of my tank?

Second. So I have a Canon 40D with a nice Induro Tripod. I am wondering what types of settings to use to get the best results photographing my tank. Should I have the room lights on or off?

What should I set my ISO to? Should I set the shutter speed to a fast or slow setting. What about aperature?

I have learned that it helps to turn off the powerheads when photographing. Any other tips like that? Thanks for the help!

it really doesnt matter on how u take ur pictures of ur tank bro...as long people can c the clear images...but all u got 2 do it kno from wat angle ur going 2 take ur pictures and c how they will come out first:splitspin

i've tried trial and error it just doesn't work enough. i would love to know how to actually do it. rather than just trying a bunch of stuff everytime i do it.

does the camera have flash on it? if it doesnt or does...take the picture first with lites off then take a picture with da lites on to c how the quality of the picture is lookin like first
