Snorkeling in Long Island need quick recommendation

Here's the thing- I have tomorrow off and I want to spend it snorkeling somewhere in Long Island. Do you guys/gals know any place that I can do it and that is accessible by car? Please help me, I'll take a camera with me and promise pictures

if i was you i would try for the atlantic side because the bottom is sandier, usually, while in the sound it is really muddy so therefore harder to see other than that i don't know

If you happen to go anywhere on the sound side be careful because the water was abit rough in the days after the "so called storm".
