I feel you.Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I am too more and more pissed off at USPS recently , but here's my story . I ordered something last week, my GF was waiting for the postman, he never came. So I am checking tracking info, it says notice left- guess what? No notice of any kind in my mailbox. It happened to me many times already so I'm not even that pissed (I'm guessing that the lazy bastard don't even bother to get out of the truck, he just scan the item as he was trying to deliver it). So I'm going to usps webpage, and make arrangements for redelivery at the exact same address, my GF again wait for the delivery guy, he never comes bla bla. I'm checking the tracking info again and that's what it says: address not existent, package will be returned. WTF? I was so pissed reading that, came to the post office next day and picked up the thing myself. What do you think about that? Happened to you guys ever before

that's never happened to me...but it doesn't surprise me. one of my packages was sent to the wrong zip code and someone signed for it there. so frustrating.

Same sh#t happen to me I'm waiting and waiting all of a sudden I get a slip in my mailbox it says 3rd notice..I never got a damn 1st notice! I had to go pick up at the post office.

Hay thats nothing i was home waiting on a package so i waited on the porch till 9pm and nothing so i go on the website and said atteped delivery notice left at door . I was like what the f**** . No mail man came to my house that day . Call usps and they told my that they tried to deliver and no one was home . I told them i was on the porch that day and no mail man came to me with nothing. They had to redelive my package and got it the next day usps suck big time.

I feel your pain. There are four apartments where I live and we are constantly exchanging mails because the postman puts them in the wrong box. While we share last name with a couple in another apartment, our first names are nowhere near similar. I've wanted to wait for the postman and ask if he knows what he's doing.

My gf ordered a ring last week. Recvd the original package inside a USPS envelope stating USPS apologizes for damage to the package. Guess what, package was ripped open and no ring to be found.

dang guarda - did the company you bought the ring from comp you for it?

i've completely stopped using usps for shipping, and i'm to the point now where i won't deal with anyone unless they ship fedex or, preferably UPS.

just a heads up - www.shipyouraquatics.com is what I use for shipping boxes. it's a good way to get a UPS discount if you don't have access to a corp. acct.

also, about package slips, the last one I got was reused- it had some other person's address and name that had been crossed through and mine written over it. it still had their tracking number on it and mine was nowhere. and it said third attempt. so stupid.

Yes, they were great about it. Evidently it had happened to them on a number of occasions recently.

USPS SUCKS! They do not gaurauntee delivery, they suck. That is what I was told when they lost a a chiller I shipped. Not only were the people at the post office extremely arrogant, they were pretty close to useless when it comes to finding something they lost. I will never use them again.

Hey a buddy of mine that worked for UPS told me that if they are running late or you are know not to be home often he did that. He would just say you were home and kept it moving. By far Fedex Ground is the best, i have gotten packages in 3 days as far away as CA. UPS takes at least 7 days, and Fedex gets there before 1.

Yeah, Fedex is definitely the best shipper out there. They always call me if I'm not home asking me what to do and the guy usually come back thesame day when I get back from work. UPS never do that and they don't deliver on Saturday without paying a lot more for shipping.
