How do you guys get your signature on you Pics

I've been going Camera Crazy these days. I've noticed a few members have their signature /screen name on their pics in the corner or middle.How do you do it and why ?Does it have to do with someone else making an unauthorized copy of the pics for their own personal use ?

Yeah you can use picasa it's free and it's easy to use google it picasa

Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop

It's called a watermark. You can use a free image editor, www.getpaint.net and create a new layer with your text.

You can also use GIMP. it's a free 'photoshop-like program'
