well i was just wondering what kind of music everyone likes here because that would be a cool statistic. I will start with classic rock/rock and ska and some hip-hop/rap cuss im a teenager. My favorite bands are led, red hot chilli peepers, the stones, the who, real big fish, sublime, Steely Dan, widespread panic, Weezer, Tom petty, the Ramones, the Doobie brothers, Allman brothers, and sting/the police. Thats more than I thought.

I listen to everything. From Elvis Presley to Eminem. Anything that has a good beat or I like the words I listen to. Rap, hip hop, rock, techno, anything. Lately been on an eminem streak with his new album.

Hell yeah! PWD one of my favorite bands. New album is more on the hardcore side though, but still sick!

Deliver Me and Alone are my fave tracks.

Not many people have heard of them at least from around where I am but I heard them a year ago and love them!
New album is definitely more hardcore but I love it. I like Alone, Home is for the Heartless, Sleepwalker and Karma.

Lots of stuff - mostly 70's prog rock (Tull, ELP, Gentle Giant, Kansas, Genesis, King Crimson, Yes, etc.), arena rock (Zep, Kansas, Deep Purple, Rush) and classic rock (Beatles, Stones, Doors, etc.). I also like blues rock a lot (Jeff Beck, SRV, Robert Cray, Joe Bonnamassa, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Jonny Lang, etc.), English/Irish fold rock (Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention, Horslips, Richard Thompson), 60's music, Surf Rock and classical music. But other then that I don't listen to music much :tongue1:

I listen to most music and with only exception of heavy metal unless they are in the Top 10 chart.

Hip Hop in cluding R&B when dancing with a lady
Psy Trance, Dub Step when dance/excercise by myself
Commercial trance when in a car
Pop and Hip Hop when watching MTV
...

Wow! My son and I used to see Fairport every time they came to the Bottom Line. They would hang around after the show, and were very approachable. We'd get to chat with them. When I told Simon Nichol that I raised my son on his mousic, he accused me of child abuse....my son (who played violin) always talked shop with Rick Sanders....now if only Dave Swarbrick would come here...he's apparently doing well with his new lungs. My son and I also met Richard Thompson after a show in Tarrytown...was great just hanging out and making small talk with him. He had a friend there who owned a Vincent Black Lightning and worked for NYC water supply...just chatted about motorcycles and how the water supply system is maintained......

I like alot of stuff I grew up listening to rock, hip hop, wu tang, ONYX, michael jackson,Beastie Boys, tone loc, Vanilla Ice (If you can sit there and say you didn't think ice ice baby was the $hit back then your lyinnn! LOL) madonna, billy joel everything. Teenage years were all metal I used to go to concerts all the time I met tons of awesome bands. I still like these bands today Static-X, Deftones, Disturbed, Staind, Sevendust,Slipknot, there's soo many.

Then I started doing the club thing DJ'ing ,Promoting,Breaking,Raving throwing my own parties all over nyc. I had my own Internet Radio Station which started as all house music with pretty much every big name DJ in the WORLD,then I mutated it into more of an everything that doesn't suck station..no commercial BS just good music. Now I'm alot more laid back mostly just jam out to like Van Halen,Zeppelin, Motley Crue,Kansas,Billy Joel, Blue Oyster Cult alot of old stuff. The music of today does not have much to say nor is it that good. I definitely still bump house music and do a little production here and there but I don't have much time for it anymore.

Amazing how one changes musically huh?

Alt Nation and Octane are my favorite satellite radio stations, but I'll listen to just about anything but country.

I'll even rock out to some cheesy pop music if noone is around to catch me lol.
