Calling all woodworkers

I know there are a bunch of you on MR that are quit handy with cabinetry and woodwork in general. I was interested in getting prices to make cut-outs in my existing cabinet-faces. There are 4 in total - 30 x 21 (2x) & 18 x 12 (2x).
The first picture is the current face; The following photo is what I intend on transforming it to:

Where did the doors originally come from?

Looks likes compressed wood shavings.
Those are the original doors when I moved in.

They look kinda like thermofoil doors. They have a plastic coating on them Asianer?

I was told that they are thermofoil doors with a white layered laminate. Unfortunately one of the laminates - The one over the stove steamed off :chefico: [FONT=&quot][/FONT]
