I need to test a computer processor. A computer I have won't boot.
I've narrowed it down to either the motherboard or processor, Whichever one it is, I will replace. Everything else checks out fine. The problem is, I need another motherboard/computer to test the cpu in. It's a Celeron D processor, 2.6ghz. It requires a socket 462 capable of supporting that speed processor. Celeron D or Pentium 4.
I think either proving or eliminating the processor should take care of my problem, I think it's the MB anyway, and the cpu should be easier to test.
Please LMK if you can help. Thanks!
