New Metallica

First off I have to say If you were dissapointed with the last album st. anger, dont let that stop you from buying this one.
This album is amazing, Its like it is 1986-1990 again. If you are a metal fan in general this album is a must for your library.
Remeber kill em all, ride the lightning, puppets, and, and justice. Well if you take all those abums and roll them into one, this is the record you get.
Believe me i was the first person to say after the last album, I think its time for these guys to retire. Im sure glad they didnt.
One sour note is the Mix on this record. The drums are so high in the mix and the recording sounds so over compressed it borders on distortion.
I try to turn it up real loud and it sounds worse and worse the louder you go which is unfortunate.
but for the most part it is a gret album musically....

I agree. I love this album. It's either my 3rd or 4th favorite album behind Justice, The Black Album and Puppets. Highly recommended for all Metallica or metal fans.

33 Lp's sorry but im a vinyl junkie.
I still wont download unless i have too. Half of the art is gone without cover art , credits, and liner notes. Its bad enough even when you buy a cd that you have to look at the cover on a 5x5 instead of a 12x12, not to mention that smooth vynil sound:smokin:

Does anybody think that the recording sucks. It sound like they wanted to make it sound loud even when it was not...But it doesn't work...A shame on such a well written album.

I heard one song on the radio and it reminded me of "one" from the Justice album. It sounded pretty good. I really used to be a big fan....the last couple of albums really have "sucked "for lack of a better word. I'm hoping this album will revive their former selves. I have seen them several times in concert before the sucky albums. They were great live.

I wouldnt say its all their good albums rolled into one but it is a good album, glad they are coming back, the last few were horrible..."Unfogiven 2" CMON!!!

I'm having a hard time gettign the courage to pick it up. I am old school when it comes to Metallica and the everything from Load on really sucked. No other word. . .it just sucked. . . . I'm afraid if I get this and it's not what I want, I'll stop listening to them entirely.
