About a year ago I saw in best buy the Clint Eastwood "Man with no name" Trilogy on the shelf. And I so wanted to buy it, but I stopped buying it because there was a movie missing from the saga as far as I was concerned and to spend 60 bux on the set and have to buy another dvd for 20 bux kind of struck me as a waste of money, even if I was getting 3 of the best westerns ever made, I wanted all 4 and I wanted them to be cheap!
Well I pouted and put it off and forgot about it, with occasional moments of remembering them then forgetting about it until one of them was on TV or cable. Until 2 days ago. I was walking down one of the isles while my wife looked for bedding supplies for our new bed we had just bought. Well Chief Jr had me distracted and I bumped into one of the racks knocking off a bunch of DVD's. Well I was embarrassed to say the least but as my mom schooled me if you make a mess pick it up, and I started pickin up.
I was almost done I had only one of the small sides to go, :tired: I really did a number on this display to say the least, and to my surprise I picked up a DVD with Clint on the cover dressed as a cowboy and I was pretty happy, It was A Fistfull of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More! And they were $9.44 for the 2 pack of DVD's! I put it into the cart and went back to cleaning up my mess, I had about 3 or 4 DVD's left when I picked up another Clint DVD 2 pack with him dressed as a cowboy but this looked different than the one I was so happy to find. :scratchch So I read the title and I almost did a cartwheel. There it was The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly packaged with the movie I felt was left out of the boxed set I kept seeing Hang Em High! And for $9.44!!!!!! I was ecstatic!!!! So now I place that into the cart and we finish shopping.
Upon going to the checkout counter I see the checkout girl/woman take one of the dvd's and ring it up and the other she put on the side of the register after saying something to my wife. So I asked what was going on. Wifey then tells me that the girl was being helpful and said we had doubles of the DVD. With a :tired: look on my face I reached over grabbed the DVD and told her to ring it up, I then reached into the bag to show them both that they were in fact 2 separate packs of dvd's. The Woman/girl checking out looked at me like I had 3 heads and wifey was :irked: but they did as they were told.
Long story short, I'm watching Fistfull now and tomorrow is A Few Dollars More, Monday The good the bad and ugly, and the finale on tuesday will be Hang em.
