WOOHOO Slingbox back up!

If anyone out there knows what a slingbox is, it is awesome. I know that there are other things out there. But this this is awesome. I have the original slingbox. Hooked up to my cable box. Now i get get my TV anywhere that I have my laptop with internet!!! LOVE IT. I even have slingbox mobile, for my Treo phone. Can control the box with the software, so can change the channel and watch on demand, stuff like that. I have even used it on my laptop with my cellular internet access for the kids. Cannot watch it full screen (17in) but in a smaller window the video feed is awesome! Sound is 99.9999999999999% time in perfect timing with the video. Well just had to rant a little.

HAHAHAH. Dont you wish you had it! LOL. Only down side is that you can only have one client on at time.

Since i have a smartphone, you can get slingmobile for it. So it i pretty good when we are out and kids are being a pain. Hand them my phone and they can watch tv....

my coworker had 1 a few years ago n shared it with me. it does takes away upload speed though.
used to cost about $200. i think the prices came down once more people know about it.

Yes it does take upload speed but does not run much more than 1.7 megabit... I have a 5 megabit upload so you really dont see the difference..
