the sad part is, is that a lot of met fans are bashing willie like its his fault. there has been only 1 relief pitcher who has not allowed a run. orlando hernandez. it all comes down to pitching. why omar thought letting bradford and oliver go is beyond me. just look out on the bridge traffic if they dont make it. there could be a high chance of mets fans jumping.
as my friend whom is a met fan said " matt its like sitting there in the lifeboat and watching the titanic go down!" LOL

It's just sad. I am a die hard mets fan and it's just too sad to even watch the game lately. Do you see the expression on every mets players lately? They have this blank expression. Everything is going wrong with this team right now and they have no clue how to fix it.

Last night game was extremely important game for Mets and I think Pedro gave very good 7 innings and they couldn't hit. Last 10 games (beside last night game), Mets was hitting really well and putting 7+ points per game yet their pitching gave up more. This is just unbelievable event and I've never seen this kind of stuff before. I just don't have any clue and I hope I can just wake up from this nightmare.

dont give up on the mets guys!
we need to show what the difference between a yank fan n a met fan is.
met fan will not give up or turn 180 just when going gets tough.
the mets is in a slump n we need to channel all our positive energy to get them to win tonite's game. don't think about all the obstacles n lets start to win 1 game at a time.

"now whose with me?"

I'm sure almost all Yankee fans are with me when I say I hope they can overcome the deficit. I know I'd like nothing more than seeing a subway series.

Yankee fans like two things, winning the ALCS from the Red Sux and winning the WS from the Mets. Makes for great October baseball in NY!!

after tonight the mets are prob not going to make the playoffs, so never

We'll always have '86. I guess I better go find that Amazing Mets DVD in closet.

I was at the game yesterday. The stadium was electric. Great, great fun.

You caught a playoff game during the regular season. Nice choice of games ;)

Couldn't be anything but electric. They gave a commanding performance and made it interesting from the start. I watched the whole game too. I watched the Philly game afterward. Needless to say, the Yankee game went on as soon as it started

Gotta have a NY WS.
