Deleting Posts

Just out of curiosity, when is it going to become SOP to send a PM to someone when you delete their post? Reefcentral does it. Even if they don't delete it they have sent PMs to let you know something may be up. I just think that if you can delete someone's post you should also be able to tell them you did it and why.

If you don't break the limited rules that we adhere to on MR then there wouldn't be any reason to delete posts. BUT, such is our dream.

Compared to RC rules, MR's at the opposite end of the spectrum. I was actually banned from RC for scientifically speaking my mind, TWICE (censorship and obtuse thinking rules there!).

I don't know what in my post was cause to delete it. That's why I am asking for a reason lol. I know the rules here are mostly non-restrictive but I honestly have no idea why it was deleted. MR has a lot of mods and it makes it easy for you guys to hide :scratchch. Just feel that if you have enough reason to delete something it's a courtesy to let the person know that you did it and why.
