Well since I started my tank I have been hooked. I had a 72 bow that didnt really gain my interested, but with my 180 reef I am addicted. My wife also loves the tank. She actually stares at it almost as much as me. The problem that she is is not the tank itself it is MR. I started off with SWF.com but I found that this site is much better mostly becuase it is a little smaller and it is from my area. Not people all over the country. But my wife yells at me, I plop on the couch with my laptop and just keep clicking the "UNREAD POSTS" link. So i am just stitting there reading. She gets soooo mad at me. I told her that at least she knows where I am, and I don't have a girlfriend so she should not complain. I told her that she can really complain is if i ever bring the laptop to bed with me. Then i will have to admit that i will have a problem and i will have to attend MRA meetings. Just thought that i would fill you guys in how this site has changed me!!!!

well i am along the same line's as you, didnt see the problem cauese it isnt like i am out drinking ect. but this hobby can become addictive and take you away from family time and other thing's that need to be done. so i came to an agreement with my wife. certain days are for fish tank and the rest isnt

I dont drink. I work and work and work, then some more work. Kids goto bed pretty early then i sit at computer and read posts. I told her that either i could get a girlfriend or stay with MR. All i got from that was a DIRTY look!

Yes she loves the tank. And he puts up with me with the tank. But its just funny that she yells at me for being in front of the computer. And to make it worse i do some freelance computer work, so at least i am getting paid when im doing that. But when i am on MR it is usually costing me money. It was a joke about Divorce, but it is funny how addicting this can be, even though it is so expensive

Dude, i do everything you just said including bringing the laptop to my be with me. She just got tired of complaining.

I wasnt gonna mention this part. But i also bring with me when we go to say my parents or her parents. Or even on long trips. Attach my cell phone and bam on the Net and i am checking posts! LOL
