nice find fritz, but like most major companies would stand to lose money in there pocket if they find a more natural resource for anything. it would benifit us, but not them.

Actually most major electricity producers would make money on these types of plants (if the hype is to be beleived), including Con Edison and Keyspan (our two major producers). Not having to buy oil, natural gas or coal (the major source of electic production for the US) would increase their profits by cutting the cost of production as long as the cost of the power plant was the same as or not signficantly higher than the cost of a traditional plant.
