WTC build pics

So i passed by the world trade center build site and i decided to take some pics with my phone... which of course means horrible quality. But hopefully ill bring my digital cam tomorrow to take some semi-decent pics.

Im just happy to see the effort to get the towers back up. I for one would love to see that big gap in the landscape filled again.

The Freedom tower is to be completed by 2009. Other buidlings are to be completed before and after.

Yes. I was walking on Park Place towards church street, when the second plane hit. I couldn't see what happened as the Woolworth building was between me and the towers, but I had bits of building and plane land on the street around me. I also saw a jet engine bounce off the building in front of me.

our sister local is erecting the tower.im sure the are putting there hearts and souls in erecting it.i was down there the day after it happened to volunteer it was the toughest couple of days i have ever had but i would not leave.keep the pics coming please i would love to see that beautiful steel going up.

I want to add to this thread, but every time I start, i have to erase it all and start over. it's like there is too much to say, and yet nothing is right.

Matt, I'm glad you are here to tell us what you saw.

Morris, I'm glad you thought to post this thread.

I can tell you that every time I pass the site -- and quite purposefully i do not pass it often -- I feel such a welling up of sadness that it is nearly unbearable. I feel too much.

It is critical for us to remember and to rebuild. I know this and I agree.

So thanks, Morris - because I can't go see it myself. Not yet, at any rate.

Very bad day, I am still filling out paperwork for it, medical paperwork, they want dates but I lost that book, and alot of the paperwork that had to do with it. While searching for it I found the new york post's from the 12th and 13th and it was like it was those days all over again. I say don't get sad, get mad, never forget, and never let it happen to us again, if it does may the people who do it suffer like the pieces of crap they really are. Build whatever you want build however you want and build it as big as you want it will be beautiful but it will never be the trade center again. It will always be a graveyard in my eyes, until they bring back my friends, co-workers, and my cousin and forever after.
