Dead LCD 17" Monitor...Repair?

I have a dead 17" LCD monitor. The power light will goes on but there is no video-just black screen.

Repair it or not. Or is there someone who knows how to fix it? I have inverts for your labor.

have u swap it out on another pc to make sure its your lcd thats not working?
no video can be due to other mal-function devices-i.e. video card, motherboard,loose cable, sometimes even re-pluging the power cord of the monitor will do the trick.

Didt that.
I even open it up to check the fuse but did go further about checking other components

With the cost of these monitors today it is going to probably cost you as much to fix it as to buy another new one.
