To The Heavens you go my Friend...

My condolences to the Wallace family for their loss of Am. Can Ch. Yukon Cornelius who passed away last night. Yukon was a Champion Alaskan Malamute who was 13 years of age and lived every one of them making his family laugh and love him over his silly antics (even at an older age, he still got his lead wrapped around trees..lol).

He did many things for a dog, traveled most of North America for dog shows, obedience shows, herding competitions and agility trials, but most importantly he made memories for two little boys with Yukon pulling them through the snow on his sled.

I finished his American Championship at the age of 4yrs. He brought joy to his owners and to this author who will miss him always.

The heartbreak of losing a beloved pet like Yukon stays with us always... My sincerest sympathy to his loving family..you and the Wallaces.

Mike, i am so sorry to hear of Yukon's passing. Having Tonka for only 8 months, we are already so attached to him, i cant imagine how you must feel loosing such a beloved friend after so many years of love and commitment. At the very least, you can rest assured knowing that thanks to you, he lived a life worth envying with all his fame and glory and of course endless love.
