I got this little guy when I was in Florida on Holiday. It is a Florida Bark Scorpio[SIZE=-1]n (Centruroides gracilis)[/SIZE]. I actually have 21 of them!

This guy grabbed a cricket within a couple of hours after being introduced to his new home. To give you an idea of size, that is a pinhead (cricket).

These scorpions only get about 4-5 inches. They will do great in captivity. Who knows, maybe they will reproduce (these are partciluarly known to do so in captivity) and sell them cheap!

These guys are very active at night. I have watched them at night for the past few nights with a red light (actually the picture above was taken at night). Gives me something to do when the reef lights go out without adding $$ to the electric bill.

I think I would be more scared of a F@#$ing scorpion on a plane than a bomb. jons funny reference is not so funny any more :rolleyes:

i was watching animal planet the other day and saw if you put a black light on scorpions @ night they glow in the dark. Mght want to give it try. looked pretty cool.
