i just use MWB pro to scan... If you have optimum internet you should get McAfee free..
Trendmicro is also pretty good.

I use Kaspersky but I think I still have some kinda virus. Is there one program that's a good add-on for Kaspersky specifically?

Malware or Spyware?SuperAntispyware is good and Spyware hunter or maybe Malware Bytes.

as an IT professional, if your not constantly downloading torrents or from hokey websites, and if you know general internet safety, i recommend AVG Free. Its free, its durable, multiple features that don't need paid subscription. All around great. not perfect. but great
