Allergies

So i spent over 1 k on a puppy this last weekend and it seems im allergic. My eyes burn and I get a mean headache. Any idea if i will become immune to the puppy or if this will be on going? Would hate to have to let him go

I worked with dogs for over 10 years during middle/highschool and I experienced and still experience an allergy which only seems to show with juvenile/puppies

I am allergic to their coat/hair and saliva.

I was also allergic to my dog as a puppy and now I am 100% fine and he's up my butt 24/7.

Although no one can guarantee that you will be fine I know many people who have the same experience.

When we adopted my wife's grandmother's cat, I was terribly allergic in the beginning. We vacuumed constantly, and she used these wipes on the cat that are supposed to help (lol). After a while I got more and more used to her and she doesn't bother me at all now.

Keep things very clean, wash your hands a lot, and hopefully after a while you won't be as allergic. There's no guarantee though.

I've also noticed that dogs with long hair like Goldens or Shepards are much worse for me than shorter haired dogs.

Thanks for the feedback. He is a teacup yorkie. Parents were concerned and wanted him out. Ill try to convince them.

R u sure its from the dog or something else.
Usually that kind a dog hypoallergenic dog.
My wife has problem with other dog but not my poodle.

Also, allergies are bad right now for lots of people. There are tons of allergens because everything is blooming at once.

I suffer with sever allergy include cats and dogs but I'm not allergic to poodles. Might be something else.

This is in fact the worse allergy season in a very long time , I thought my lungs would collapse from the burning !!!! But I would see an allergist and be sure it's the dog first , then I would figure out a solution , I would hate to see the dog go for something not it's fault!

Ive been trying to explain that to the folks but they are adamant it has to be him. Ill see if I can see an allergist to make sure
