Knicks playoff hopes

It's painful being a Knicks fan. Completely different team from game to game. Great win tonight vs the Warriors which I was expecting to be a blowout. This pulls them within 1 game of the Hawks. They still have a tough road ahead but I'm hoping they can make it this year. Give Melo a little more reason to stick around and we'll see what they can do in the next couple off seasons (since we'd be eliminated in the first round anyway).

As long as the next coach likes to run something other than Iso Melo, the Knicks have a good foundation for the next couple years. Just need the Hawks to keep losing..

you think Melo stays? i know he stands to get the most money by staying in NY but i just dont see it happening. If they can make a move or two before he makes his decision i think that would be helpful. I think an an overhaul would benefit this sqaud. i like hardaway and think he can develop into a quality player and shumpert if he is healthy could develop into something down the road, but not enough for melo to stay put

A guy can hope. They don't have the cap space to make many moves this offseason but the following year opens up the roster for alot of moves. I'm not banking on Melo giving his home team any preference, I'm banking on him taking the money.

Hardaway/Shumpert are promising for the future and with a little Zen magic,the Knicks can have a great team for the future.

Nonetheless, disappointing season compared to last year's performance.

Does it really matter if they make the playoffs? 1 and done in a sweep is just as shameful as not making it at all

i would say for the learning experience for you ger players the playoffs make a difference and provide experience. I u derstand what you mean though as this was. ot a playoff kind of year. i am hopeful that Jackson can turn this organization around. i expect next season to be a gritty, hope for the 2015 free agency sweepstakes thpe of year. then again Melo may take the cash!

Keep Melo, keep Hardaway, trade Shumpert an revamp roster, Melo had a good year he just needs help. We need someone like Kevin Love and a good young point guard like maybe Rondo. It's easy to put all the blame on Melo but he has no real help.

Why would you blame Melo??? Thats the reason no big names want to come here. People blaming the best player for their problems when they would have lost a hell of alot more without him

Great win tonight but no help from the Hawks. Crunch time..remaining schedules not looking good.

You think pacers are fading at wrong time or just going through motions until playoffs start up? I'd like to see Heat at least make finals, I see packers as the only other team, until ros? and Chicago get healthy or pickup Melo in offseason
