My wife and I are looking to spend a few days in the Caribbean toward the end of February.

We've been to Aruba, the Dominican Republic, St. Martin, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, and a few other islands. We are not looking to repeat the above.

We want to spend most of the time on the beach. lol. Nothing crazy. Must be safe (relatively) and an all-inclusive would be ideal. We can't go crazy money-wise, as we haven't planned this out and are only planning to go from a Thursday to Tuesday or so.

What's good?

Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands is to this day still my favorite. The water is clearer than any other Caribbean Island I've ever been too and the caves right on the water are awesome to explore through. Comparable to St. Thomas but I likes BVI much better.

Curacao is also pretty cool. It's a Dutch island I believe so it seemed more of a European country in some parts when I went. It's very comparable to Aruba but I personally liked it better because it was less crowded than Aruba.

Belize as mentioned above has amazing diving.

Costa Rica is pretty cool too. I am part Costa Rican so when I went there I visited family but this country is more of a jungle/rainforest attraction than a beach attraction although it is very cool how the rainforest meets up with the beach in some parts and gives a different atmosphere in general but if you are looking for a beach island I would say you have better options out there.

Barbados is nice as well. If you've been to St. Martin there are slightly similar. There is some nice wreck diving there. The beaches also have awesome waves. I remember that distinctly because I literally spend a full day at the beach the first time I went and was amazed. The people there were also very pleasant and don't bother you when you walk around.

Antigua has awesome beaches but you generally want to stay in a hotel most of the time and away from the inlands. It's very underdeveloped and not a comfortable place to be in.

Theres a bunch of other islands I could tell you about but these were my favorites.

I have been to most of the Caribbean and many were already mentioned. Of course all inclusives are about twice the price and well worth it only if you are going to take advantage of what they have to offer. Most of the resorts on a place like Jamaica are all inclusive because you don't want to walk around that Island. I have been there twice and I am not a fan, except for their all inclusives. I liked St Lucia. We stayed at an all inclusive there but there are all inclusives and all inclusives. The places that call it a Super all inclusive are much better as they offer diving and just about everything including no lines at the bars, which of course are free. Liquor is not free at all all inclusives and SCUBA is almost no longer included. St Lucia is the nicest looking Island as it is the only one with steep mountains all over the Island with no flat places. But it is a very poor Island and not much to see out of the resort. The Pitons there offer a really nice dive.
There are also some smaller Islands like Bequa and Ildesaints but there is not much to do there except lay on the almost empty beaches which are really nice.
It just depends on how much you want to spend and what you like to do.
