Good Fuel Locations! Minimum Waiting Time

Shortage of Fuel......we know. I've actually seen a brawl in the middle of the car line at one gas station. CRAZY! Anyways, there are a few stations I wanted to point out a good location if anyone REALLY needs gas.

Most Gas Stations in the Newburgh/Cornwall area are open. No more than a 10 minute wait. I drove there today from Manhattan, and stocked up heavily on fuel. The roads are Empty, no traffic, and no road closures on 87, so getting there isn't a big deal. It's a 45 minute- 1 hour drive via I-87 N.

If outages and lines are still an issue by you, the above post is spot on. I was without electric, phone, internet and cable from Monday night (storm) until Sunday night (6 days) and never waited on one line. Been running a generator with 10g usage per day. I've been driving right up to the pump in Maybrook, NY (on Rt. 84), the Valero in the Truck Stop has plenty of gas and no lines at $3.719

Costco in New Rochelle and Nanuet also have no long lines if you go late at night. Just make sure to call first to see if they have any more gas. They've been open 24hrs and you don't need to have a costco membership.
