Do we have any members here from breezy point? Hope everything is alright i just saw the pictures of that big tornado.

I think a small one was forming and almost touched down around my house(Flushing) then dispersed quickly. My yard tank is almost filled to top with rain water in such a short down pour.

I got the tornado warning on my cell phone. This one didn't seem to cause much damage...but it's almost exactly 2 years since the last round of tornados. That was bad! Brooklyn had a tornado with 80 mph winds...northeast Queens had a tornado of about 100mph...but my neighborhood, along with Forest Hills and Kew Gardens Hills was hit by a "macroburst" with 135mph winds! I've never seen so much damage....saw houses with tree trunks sticking out of their roofs. I had 4 huge trees down in my yard, 2 deck railings destroyed....a 20' branch was on my front lawn, and it came from a tree behind my house! For me it was a blessing in disguise...my yard has never looked so good, and I can finally grow tomatoes again.
