So I have lots of headphones, and just wanted to compare and contrast in case anyone is planning on buying a pair. I have headphones ranging from Bose to Denon to Behringer and etc.
First off, Bose. Models QC-15 and Mi E2 are probably the tops of the tops when it comes to surround sound and noise cancellation. Comes with a price, but is backed by a great warrenty and outstanding customer service.
Next I wanted to talk about all three brands of headphones at the same time. They are Beats by Dre, SOUL by Ludacris, and SMS by 50 cent. (Idk why all these artists are aking headphones) First, the Beats. IMo, Overrated and they are more for the looks then anything. Pricey, but the quality of music is still ok. It really depends on the model of Beats that you want. Ive tried the DeTox Limited Edition Pair, the over ears, and the Solos. The Detox wins in quality.
Now the SOUL in ear headphones by ludacris. Specifically the SL99 In ear model. These are much much better then the In ear headphones by Dre. The Bass is much more "in depth" for a lack of a better word, and the highs and lows are also crisp and clean. I use the SL99s for everyday use for in ear, never had a problem. Also has a sleek design to it.
Last, the SMS by 50. Talking about the STREET over ears. Same exact thing as the Beats Over ears. But these headphones are much better looking.
My Conclusion: For the price you would pay for either Beats, SMS, or Souls, you can buy yourself a pair of Top Quality BOSE headphones, which win in every single category of headphone sound. They have been my favorites and will probably always be.
