What is the most popular Android Version in the market?

I believe Android 2.XX is the latest version issued with most phones. Then others with the Galaxy S3, Evo 4G LTE, Evo 1 have 4.XX "Ice Cream Sandwich"

I was looking at Jelly Bean but worry that it may be too new that most tablets and smart phones does not support.

Also for the cel phones/tablets out there do they accept MicroSD as big as 32G?

Did you have guys see any BIG changes on your android phones while gingerbread was running and now that they have updated there software to ice cream sandwich?

The only difference with Ice Cream Sandwich that I can tell is just the GUI is different.
I could not tell you if there are any performance differences as they are all micro enhancements such as flipping through screens side to side as opposed to scrolling down. Also now there is basically an app killer available as opposed to using an app to kill off running apps.
Oh and I did happen to notice there are less bloatware. I am just guessing that they are tired of hearing that there is too much bloatware pre-installed on phones.

I know that Jelly Bean now has a much much much better voice interaction which is much better than Siri.

I'm running jelly bean on my galaxy nexus and Xoom. I was skeptical about the voice interaction but I have to say it works very well.

I'd lean towards building something I'd lean toward ics rather than gingerbread that would put you two versions behind.

jellybean does look like a huge improvement over ICS. however I'm not going to go running around to install it.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 has 4.0 (Ice crean Sandwich) and accepts all MicroSD card sizes, the new 4.1 (jelly bean) is being used on the Google Nexus and so will all the newest android phones.
