3 Day Getaway

Hi All,

Looking for a cheap but nice (yea i know) place for us to get away for a few days. Looking for somewhere with a 5 hour drive of NY, that'll give us enough to do for 3-4 days.

Where would you guys recommend?

Montreal is awesome. Im not sure how old you guys are (im 22) but there's great tourist attractions as well as night life

Woodstock NY is awesome as well. the town has little boutique shops and family oriented.

Hamptons is you want the beach

Lake George or anywhere in the Adirondacks if you're an outdoorsy type.
Ocean City Maryland is cool.

Going with the old lady. I like the idea of Montreal but she just got back from there

I'm thinking Lake George would be nice and relaxing.

Lake George is great. Have you tried looking at Mystic CT? Nice Aquarium there.

If you go to lake george, take a day and drive to old forge about an hour to hour and half, you can rent a boat on the first lake for a half or full day, theres 4 lakes that are connected.

lake george is nice trip, buddy of mine went to fingerlakes and said it was good, i have been to oc maryland and really liked it. try one of those travel websites and see if you can score on a last minute trip someplace

Lake George is a great place.
AC is awesome if you wanna get hammered and lose a sh*tload of money!
PA is cool and so is OC Maryland. The best thing is they are all 4 -5 hours away! Mystic is a good recommendation and you can take the Orient ferry over instead of driving. I always wanted to see the aquarium up there.
