So would all Yankees fans.
As a matter of fact, it seems the Yankee brass would like it too. Here's what I've been hearing:
Yankees owe AJ ~ $32-$33 million for the next two years on his current contract.
Pittsburgh is offering ~ $13-$14 million for the next two years + some minor leaguer.
The Yanks are willing to take a two year loss of ~ $19-$20 million and only receive a quality minor leaguer to finally unload that worthless piece of garbage they call a pitcher.
I think this trade should be the #1 off season objective of our beloved bombers.....DUMP AJ!!! DUMP AJ!!!! DUMP AJ!!!!
By the way, did I mention I can't stomach AJ Burnett any longer?
