i know awhile back there was a thread like this but cant find it,
well i havent road in about 12 years after watching a friend go down at 80 mph and losing his left arm and most of his left hip and leg from sliding almost a half mile on the pavement, i imediately sold my bike, 99 gsxr 1100 bored to a 1286 stretched and raked, nos, airshift and shoot on the back, man i miss having that rocket, this bike is also where i really experiance speed, ive drove alot of fast cars had a few as well but nothing compares to the speed of a bike, well now i am a little older { 21 } lol i finally decided to get me a bike again, friend had a 93 zx11d with 25k on it never down and at a price i couldnt resist, so know i am a proud owner of a bike again, bike is maroon with a decent paint job, but being a auto painter by trade i will be pulling all the fairings to re-paint them, frame is fully polished and might pull the rims and do them or have them done. also before spring need to drop it at local shop to have it gone over and tuned.
anyone going to the cycle event at javits this coming weekend ?
