Hey guys,
I'm on the market for a nice digital camera, I bought my girlfriend a nice Sony point & shoot, 14 MP camera almost 2 years ago. She has been getting into photography more and more, (thanks to an iPhone app called instagram) and I would like to support her new found hobby with a really nice SLR camera. I'll be using it myself to take some reef pics, so I wanted to see if anybody's got some recommendations. I won't exactly say money isn't a factor to worry about here, however I don't mind spending some extra cash to get something really nice, instead of saving a few hundred and getting something mediocre that I'm just gonna get sick of and replace. Ohh and the photography seminar at LIRA meeting last month definitely got me thinking, it was a great presentation thanks to Jarrod.
