Okay...wisdom teeth removed people :) come and chat..

i got 4 of my wisdom teeth removed today..i felt fine..just a little gased and high off percocet...well i feel fine today..but just like a hang over from drinking..i am expecting the worst..please scare the crap out of me with stories and what i should expect...
my first question is should i brush my teeth the first day?..i know saltwater rinse is important any info to get me throught this week will help.. :biggrin:

lol...BTW: how is the anth...is he doing well?.. your hammer and frog spawn opened up in a matter of seconds...you zoa is beautiful...lol the foam was bothering me..so i riped it apart and glued the zoa individual pieces onto rock..i heard that foam will eventially leech into your tank..ps i feel so freaking light headed..and i got to study for a bunch of exams today..sigh...at least i got dentist note..

The Anthias is being retarted, hes not really eating, and will only peck at the tiniest pieces of mysis, hes still looking strong so hopefully he'll start soon. Im glad my pieces are doing well, hope you enjoy them

he will be a little chicken..but give him a couple of days and he will eat like a piggy..he eats alot...i mixed mysis with pellets..and it got his attention..

i had all 4 of mine cut out before they had come up out of my gums because they were already bothering me. i did not take any drugs the day after, but had a hard time opening my mouth to eat. i did brush my teeth that night and every day after that without problems, just be gentle on the back teeth. and there are many good antibacterial mouthwashes that use peroxide that work well for rinsing, but i just used the salt mixture for a couple days. my swelling and bruising was minimal, i guess maybe that was because i had them cut out and it all went fairly fast and easy. but my cousin looked like a chipmunk when she had hers pulled and her face turned purple from the bruising

i got my bottom two removed. They were impacted and were not above the gum line yet. I still remember being amused while on the gas at the sound of my teeth as they were cracked out!

After that it was horrible. I was in agonizing pain for 3 days- and my dentist only gave me Tylenol w/ codeine! Even 6 of those at once did nothing. Ended up begging for vicodin, but even those didn't do all that much. I couldn't eat anything but soup for two weeks- and I got a huge double chin that lasted even longer! Man I am not looking forward to getting my top teeth out!

It gets really annoying for the next few months while you have big holes in your gums that food gets stuck in!
