Ok guys... joe has been coming to me as a customer for awhile.... I found his number from last week. I had mixed feelings about the whole situation so i decided to gave him a call. He gave me full access to his paypal and explained the situation. His uncle was sharing his bank account with joe and joe was getting direct deposits from his job to the account. His uncle had paperless billing and was not aware of the activity going on the account as he did not really know his way around the internet. He asked to get paper billing and saw all the transactions and did not ask joe about it and called the bank thinking someone had access to his account and spending his money. The bank then contacted paypal and locked the account and started to dispute the charges. Paypal also locked his access which show very limited info. I saw 79 disputes from numerous companies and individuals. Some of the cases that got closed out were pending payment reversals but the money doesnt show on his account as i am assuming it gets dealt with by the bank directly. He will be speaking with the bank on monday to try and resolve this issue. I want you guys to be alittle understanding about the situation and since he no longer has access to MR he wants people to e-mail or call him to show that he isnt going anywhere and trying to work on the situation. He asked that i give everyone his telephone number and e-mail address if you need to speak with him. He should have everything resolved soon. If paypal sends the money to him he will send all the payments back to everyone.

I am glad that is the case!!

I am sure that if People would have called PayPal they could have gotten information like that.

I know that everyone went off half cocked last night. Ultimately, as long as it is all fixed then it is all good!!!

I called paypal myself and they were not very helpful. It seems they care more about the buyer than the seller. There is some loop hole here that paypal needs to fix. The only protection a seller has is if he ships the item out... not local pick ups...

I can tell you this though... i will not be accepting paypal for any local pick ups.... too risky IMO

I just spoke with Joseph, he saids he will try to clear this up with the bank and paypal on monday to see if a refund could be worked out to everyone, if not, he will arrange some kind of payment plan to everyone. He encourage everyone to call or email him so he can apologise and explain the situation to everyone himself, but the story pretty much is what Alex posted already.

I agree with Alex on the paypal thing. Sellers always lose, first with the fee, and they wont protect you against claims.

i talk to joe today i got the feeling he was shocked when i told him what wwas going on but i will belive it when i get my money back
if anybody needs his number i got it too

i just want to thank all the people who got my back last night and help me out with in 1 hour i had 4 phone numbers 2 house address and his work address and i want to say thanks boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
