question for the bicycle gurus

I have a 1984 Peugeot P6 road bicycle and recently learned that the fork is bent. Is this frame worth saving and the fix-up?

Brakes and gears checked out fine.

Jerl, yeah I heard good things about the frame even though it was a bottom of the line Peugeot road bike (still impressive). I've had a hard time finding the original fork, but there is a west coast manufacturer that makes an identical fork ~$40. Figured I'd overhaul the whole bike, save the frame, while I'm at it. Just not sure if the frame is worth it.

Do you have the cash for a new road bike or actually want to drop the cash? $40 is pretty cheap to keep the bike on the road.

hey B, I want to make sure it's worth restoring. Don't want to add new components to it (say, new tires or handles) if the frame is going to bend or crack in two years.
