OT: Coincidence or synergy?

My orchid which had done nothing but grow leaves since I got it two years ago has finally flowered. Could be coincidence but it seems like it started sending the spike up after I had the tank filled, possibly due to the increased humidity. Anyone else notice anything like this?

These orchids tend to take a while b4 they bloom. After the tank went in the living room I got rid of the humidifiers. Extra humidity and warmth will definitely cause it to flower.
