I know some of you also keep freshwater aquaria, as I do. I have some juvenille, about an inch to inch and quarter, Peacock Gudgeons. This is a colorful, peaceful fish, not often seen in stores. Adult size is about 2 3/4" to 3". If anyone would like a few delivered to the swap, let me know.

I'd appreciate, but it isn't necessary, ANY type of coral frag as a swap.

First pic below is taken with flash and is overly blue, second pic taken under normal flourescent "plant light" (which is pinkish).

George,
I spent $50 to have these fish overnighted to me from Florida a year or two ago. Set up a breeding project for them. Incredibly interesting fish, for anyone reading this, since the fish are cave spawners. There's very high demand for them on the planted tank forums, as an fyi, George, and you can sell them no problem there.

Thanks for this info, Frosty. I actually had no idea they were in demand. I tried to sell some to a LFS and got a curt, "Thanks for asking, but not interested at this time." Another store has a policy of not buying fish, period! Their loss!

By the way, if there's no "cave" in the tank for them to spawn in, they will spawn on a broad plant leaf (Radicans Sword) right in the open -- the male did have his hands (fins?) full keeping other fish away in a community tank. I then gave them their own tank with a ceramic cave.

Pm sent, very generous offer George.

You're welcome, smoq! I'm afraid that generosity on this forum is contagious! I really like the concept of Paying Forward, and Don't Break the Chain, that I first learned about here. And while this isn't exactly the same (no strings attached), I just want others to enjoy these little beauties as much as I have.
