Probably better off buying a new Synology or rolling your own.

What specs do you need? I have an old Thecus N5200B sitting on the shelf that I used as an iSCSI target few years ago.

I need something small. I backup my laptop to it and use it to store movies and watch them. Two mirrored 1.5TB drives is more than enough. I make a monthly image of my laptops harddrive to my NAS. Usually takes up about 300GB. I HAD about 50GB of movies. But those were low priority, and I really just use the NAS to watch new movies I transfer to it rather than keep them on my Samsung phone.
